Terms and Conditions

The rules that govern use of the platform and the relationship between you, therapists and Therapy Puente LLC.

Last updated: July 2, 2026. By using the platform, you accept these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. Purpose

The platform connects people seeking support with professional therapists and manages matching, plan purchases and session scheduling. It is not an emergency service. If you are in crisis or your life or someone else’s is in danger, visit Immediate help or contact local emergency services. Therapy provided through the platform does not replace urgent medical or psychiatric care.

2. Registration and account

Some features require an account with accurate, up-to-date information. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for activity carried out through your account. Notify us of any unauthorized use.

3. Role of the platform

Therapy Puente LLC facilitates therapeutic matching, plan management and administrative coordination between users and therapists, including session booking and video-call tools. The clinical responsibility for sessions, diagnoses and treatment belongs exclusively to each therapist, who is an independent, licensed professional. Therapy Puente LLC does not directly provide healthcare services or employ therapists in their clinical practice.

4. Clinical responsibility and professional autonomy

Each therapist acts with full professional autonomy and is solely responsible for clinical decisions. We recommend verifying the professional’s credentials and license through the relevant authorities. The final decision to begin or continue therapy is yours and is made at your own responsibility.

5. Confidentiality and its limits

Session content is confidential. However, laws and mental-health ethics may require professionals to disclose information or take action in exceptional situations, including:

  • Reasonable suspicion of abuse or mistreatment of a child or vulnerable adult.
  • Serious or imminent suicide risk.
  • A serious threat of harm to another person.
  • A request from a competent authority through a court order.

These exceptions exist to protect your safety and that of others and apply only to the minimum extent necessary.

6. Service scope: no prescriptions or official documents

The platform team provides psychological support, but is not authorized to issue medical prescriptions or legally valid documents such as certificates, unless the professional complies with the regulations of your country. Professionals will not sign legal documents or prescribe medication unless licensed to do so in the relevant jurisdiction.

7. Plans, prices and payments

Current plans, packages and prices are shown on the Plans page. Payments are processed securely through Stripe; we do not store complete card details. When you purchase a plan, you accept its price and specific terms.

8. Cancellations and refunds

Cancellations, rescheduling and refunds are governed by our Cancellation and Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.

9. Eligibility and minors

To create an account and use the service independently, you must be at least 18 years old, or the legal age in your jurisdiction if higher. People under 13 may not use the platform. Those between 13 and 18 may use it only with the supervision and consent of a parent or legal guardian.

10. User conduct

You agree to use the platform in good faith and respectfully, and not to engage in unlawful or abusive conduct or behavior that affects the service or third-party rights.

11. Intellectual property

The platform’s content, brands, logos and software belong to Therapy Puente LLC or its licensors and are protected by applicable law. You may not reproduce or use them without authorization.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Therapy Puente LLC is not liable for indirect damages arising from use of, or inability to use, the platform, or for clinical decisions made by therapists exercising their professional autonomy.

13. Electronic communications

By using the platform, you agree that we may contact you electronically. Email is not completely secure: avoid sharing sensitive health or payment information outside the platform’s protected channels.

14. Changes to these terms

We may modify these terms to reflect legal or service changes. We will publish the current version on this page. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

15. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, and applicable federal law. Disputes will be submitted to the competent courts of that jurisdiction, unless consumer-protection law in your country provides otherwise.
